When you need flexibility and protection in a lightweight package, the Ascendor Light Pants are the way to go. These women's technical pants are tuned for demanding climbing activities and long trail routes. A highly breathable version of the popular Ascendor AS winter climbing pant, it's made from ultra-lightweight and durable Matrix™ fabric.

The Rab Ascendor Light has a slim fit that won't hold you back even on fast ascents. With just the basics and fabric, they are barely noticeable when worn, yet durable enough to withstand the rock, tools and demands of high-altitude use.

The trousers have been designed for optimum mobility when climbing, with a long gusset at the crotch and a specific gusset at the knees that provides the necessary freedom when performing movements. The lower leg is tapered while being stretchy at the hem, so it will fit securely over most summer boots.

The lower leg is reinforced on the inside with Matrix™ RX material. Zippered pockets are positioned so you can reach them when you're wearing a harness. The lightweight, elastic waistband with double snap closure is comfortable and low bulk. You'll also find low-profile belt loops.
