The Matrix SWS™ material gives the pants unique properties. Jefn so they do not blow out, yet they are very breathable. They are as comfortable on the body as sweatpants. If you have experience with the Rab Borealis jacket, know that the Rab Torque is actually similar to the Borealis, but for the legs.

Thepants are reinforced at the knees and around the ankles with a thicker Matrix DWS™ material, so they provide the necessary durability where needed. The elasticated hem and zipper allow you to keep the pants either loose or tightened around the ankles. Three spacious zippered pockets are very accessible.

The Rab Torque really lasts a lot and hardly anything can compete with them. They are also proven on the nearly 5000 km long trek along the mountain backbone of the American continent - the CDT.

According to the manufacturer, they are climbing pants, but they are great for trekking and even cycling. They don't leak anywhere, they're reinforced in important places, they're made of stretchy and durable material, they have amazing water repellency, and they can be worn for absolutely any outdoor activity from fall to spring.
