Inside this inflatable sleeping pad, two layers of TILT reflective foil have been incorporated to reflect radiated heat back toward the body—thereby reducing heat loss through radiation.

Offset air chambers trap heat inside the mat, so less insulation was needed—resulting in a weight of 345 grams. With a two-way flat valve on the bottom and an inflation bag, you can set up your sleeping spot in seconds. No hassle either—Rab has put a lot of thought into the packaging as well.

The R-value indicates how well the sleeping pad resists heat loss. The higher the value, the more effective the insulation from the ground—and thus the better it performs in cold environments.
