Women's AKU Rock DFS GTX boots
The Rock model has been in production since 2010 and the current version features the new DFS system. This Dual Fit System consists of a double lacing system. While walking, you have one lace tightened just right; they don't pull on your feet. When you get into the dry or on the ferrata, you can tighten the other laces so that the boot hugs your foot more snugly.
The women's version has modified parameters to suit the specific female anatomy. For maximum durability, the Rock DFS has a solid cleat around the entire circumference of the shoe. The upper is made up of 1.6 mm thick leather along with AIR 8000 microfiber. This is very breathable and lends the boots excellent thermoregulation.
The waterproofness is ensured by the waterproof Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane. The midsole on this model is designed with dual-density EVA foam using polyurethane and IMS3 technology, which sensitively absorbs shock. This is complemented by Elica technology, which distributes the body weight over the entire foot area.
These real-world technologies enhance your performance and save energy. The VIBRAM Approcciosa Megagrip outsole takes care of uncompromising traction on any terrain.
