This model is once again uncompromising in terms of the weight/insulation ratio. For example, in comparison to the most powerful member of the Mythic family to date, the Rab Mythic Ultra, the overall weight has been reduced by an impressive 224 grams (size M).

The jacket is filled with premium 1000FP goose down (127 grams in size M), which meets the Responsible Down Standard certification and is treated with Nikwax hydrophobic treatment. This treatment ensures that the down retains its loft for longer and does not quickly lose its insulating properties when wet. The outer material is made of 100% recycled and ultra-light 7D Atmos™ ripstop nylon (23 g/m²) with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment.

TILT technology involves coating the fabric fibres with an extremely thin layer of titanium, which reflects body heat back to the wearer. This reduces heat loss by up to 30% without affecting breathability or increasing the weight of the jacket. TILT is strategically distributed according to the physiological zones of the body, allowing for more efficient heat regulation - heat is trapped where it is needed most, while the jacket allows ventilation in areas of higher perspiration. The Rab Mythic G uses 7D ripstop nylon (23 g/m²) for maximum lightness and durability.

The ultra-lightweight quilted construction achieves weight and volume reduction while maintaining excellent breathability. The special "pre-twisted" sleeve construction provides maximum freedom of arm movement, which is especially appreciated in activities where greater flexibility is required.

The hood is filled with the same down insulation as the rest of the jacket and features an elasticated drawcord and reinforced hood for better protection against the elements. The ends of the sleeves are finished with elasticated cuffs that adjust to the wrist.
