      Pinguin Interval 6 Airtube

Spacious inflatable tent for 6 people offers two separate bedrooms and a large hallway. Thanks to the Airtube technology used, it is very easy and quick to build. While your Interval 6 AirTube will already be built, others will be threading the poles...

The Interval 6 AirTube with its variable door layout and spacious vestibule has enough room for 6 people. The tent is made of Polyester with a polyurethane coating, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams are taped with waterproof tape.

The liner is made of Nylon with Polyurethane coating, providing 10 000 mm water column. The liner is connected to the tropic so that uninvited guests (bugs and other vermin) cannot get inside. For long-term camping and with regard to hygiene, this is certainly a positive thing.

Instead of rods, there are TPU inflatable tubes inserted into three tunnels made of Polyethylene and Polyester fabric inside the tropic. The inflatable pump is included in the package.

The Pinguin Interval 6 is a double layer tent - it consists of an inner and an outer tent - the tropic. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with one entrance on its longer side. The tropico has a spacious vestibule with two entrances (front and side).

The concept of the tent is based on the principle where a TPU inflatable tube is inserted into a tunnel of Polyethylene and Polyester fabric inside the tropico. The tropic and the inner tent (which is suspended from the inside of the tropic) are erected simultaneously after the tubes are inflated. The advantage of this construction is the possibility to detach the bedroom from the tropic, which stands on its own to form a single-walled tent with an integrated Polyethylene floor without the bedroom.

Ventilation is located in the upper corners of the vestibule (2 ventilation canopies) and one large ventilation window at the rear of the tent. The ventilation canopies are designed not to close spontaneously. In hot weather, it is also recommended to open the 2 front triangular mesh windows and the side mesh window for maximum ventilation effect.

      Tent construction

Spread the tent out on the ground and anchor it with stakes at the corners of the tent. Then open the screw plug on the third (lowest) tube, which is located at the rear of the tent, insert the hose end into the valve and pump until you hear the whistle located on the pump hose. Then remove the hose and screw the opening. Do the same for the centre tube and finally the head tube.

Inside the tent, hook the bedroom with the plastic olives into the rings on the tropic. After hanging the inner tent, close all entrances and windows. Then tension the tent by tightening the straps at the corners of the tent. Then anchor all the loops of the tropic with pegs to the ground and secure the tent with the anchor lines.
