Pinguin Trekking PFM sleeping bag

Sleeping bag for use from spring to autumn. We offer it for heights up to 170, 190 or 205 cm. It is a quality three-season sleeping bag, suitable for camping and hiking in the mountains.

Thanks to the DWR treatment, you don't have to worry about morning dew and it can even handle light drizzle, and the ThermicFibre hollow fibre keeps you warm in sub-zero temperatures.

Like our other sleeping bags, the Trekking comes with a compression sleeve that allows you to shrink it down to less than three litres in volume if needed. We recommend that you purchase the following with your sleeping bag storage bagto extend its life.

Sleeping bag materials

The sleeping bag is coated with Micro Light polyester on the inside. This fabric is very pleasant to the touch, almost to the point of giving the impression of cotton. However, it dries much better, lasts longer and is much lighter.

Thermic Fibre PFM

Thermal insulation material consisting of a mixture of siliconised hollow fibres with a very small diameter. Its size is close to that of microfibre, which makes Thermic Fibre able to bind a large number of air molecules not only inside the cavity but also on the surface of the fibres due to its micro-diameter. Thermic Fibre thus exhibits high thermal resistance.

The siliconisation of the surface fixes the fibres in their relative position, thus achieving a spring effect - i.e. a high loft of the insulation layer, with low weight and excellent packability.

Thermicfibre PFM is non-absorbent, water repellent, dries quickly and insulates well, even in high humidity. It is absolutely non-allergenic, very soft and user-friendly.

Easy to care for, it can be machine washed on a gentle programme also tumble dried.

Clima Control Shield

Clima Control Shield (CCS) technology prevents warm air from escaping from the inside while ensuring adequate breathability.

The combination of these features ensures user comfort and a favourable internal climate of the sleeping bag. The water-repellent finish provides sufficient protection against adverse weather conditions. The fabric with Clima Control Shield treatment is lightweight, packable and soft to the touch.
