The Tropico is made of Polyester with a polyurethane coating, which gives it a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams are taped against leakage with heating tape.

The lining is made of laminated Polyethylene with Rip-Stop treatment. The members consist of laminate segments with a diameter of 8.5 mm.

Thetent is double-skinned and consists of an inner tent and an outer shell - tropic. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with an entrance on the longer side. The outer tent has a triangular apse on the entrance side, suitable for storing luggage. We can decide whether to open the left or right half of the entrance, or both at the same time. We can use this choice, for example, when cooking and thus create the necessary air-conditioning.

The ventilation is located at the top of the tropical dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that they are not tilted by the wind and can be closed with Velcro fasteners if necessary. This prevents leakage even in rain with strong winds.

Tent construction

We hang the inner tent with hooks on a structure of crossed rods, the ends of which are inserted into metal hollow rivets in the corners of the floor. Pull the tricot over the structure and slide the rod tensioning the vestibule into the perforated sleeve, insert it into the metal hollow rivets and tension it into an arch. Then attach the Velcro straps on the underside of the tropic to the rods. Fasten the plastic trident clips at the bottom of the tropic and turn the tropic off. Anchor the tent with pegs and cords.
