Lightweight axe for mountain climbing. A compromise between a classic hiking ice axe and a modern ice weapon.
The EDGE is an intermediate between a classic hiking axe and a modern ice weapon. It combines the advantages of both types: a curved handle, which creates more space for demanding climbing, and a smooth lower tip, which easily penetrates the snow when scrambling or making easier ascents. The ideal ice axe for steep couloirs and classic alpine climbing.
