Warmpeace Survival Bag SINGLE

A self-preservation bag, primarily used as a quick shelter in adverse weather conditions. It is made of nylon with a ShellTEC Tight membrane and has taped seams.

In the Czech Republic, this piece of equipment has become known as a Žďárský bag or žďárák, named after its inventor, the famous Austro-Hungarian skier Matyjáš Žďárský. Compared to a bivouac bag, the Survival Bag is made of much lighter material, which makes it easier to pack and store, and predestines it for use mainly in emergency situations. When packed, it is about the size of a packed raincoat for a backpack.

The Survival Bag is ready to use as a sleeping bag cover for sleeping lying down, but also for weathering bad weather, for example, while sitting, with everything the user is wearing at that moment, including shoes and other items that also need to be protected.

What is the Survival bag good for?

• Suitable as insurance for one-day events in case of possible delays, getting lost, or sudden weather changes.
• The material is waterproof and breathable = reduces the effects of rain, snow, and wind.
• All seams are taped.
• The head section covers part of the body, naturally enclosing the shoulder and chest area while leaving space for air exchange and free breathing.
• The corners of the bag can be attached to the ground, trees, or rocks using the prepared eyelets. This helps to anchor the Survival Bag in the wind and, by tensioning it, makes rainwater drainage more effective.
