Between the door of one mountain hut and the door of another, you'll find glacier remnants, treacherous rubble and plenty of climbing on rock shelves and aerial ladders. In such varied terrain, these medium-stiff hiking boots will serve you well.
Their lightly reinforced sole remains just flexible enough to keep semi-automatic crampons on, yet the socks are good for walking on all the goat trails and rock climbing. Plus, the climbing toe helps you stand up to small rock outcroppings. Perwanger leather and durable fabric will protect your feet and the boots themselves from harm. And when you head back down into the valley, EVA cushioning in the heel will relieve your hard-tested knees.
Asolo 3D Thermo-Shaped is a technology that allows the tongue, ankle and collar to match the morphology of the man or woman. The flexible material then adapts to the shape of the foot and doesn't press anywhere.
